With three decades of experience in providing human resource management solutions, Synerion, formerly Lavie TimeTECH, continues to march forward. 

A pioneer in employee time and attendance management

1983: It all started with the vision of two young friends and colleagues, Eli Avni and Gil Yuval, who wanted to establish a software company specializing in data collection, using, what was at the time, advanced technology: microcomputers.

Together with a third partner, they founded Lavie Computers, the first company in Israel, and among the pioneers worldwide, in the field of work hour analysis and attendance solutions. After a thorough study of civil service regulations and labor laws, the new company set as its goal to provide reliable software solutions that will provide the necessary flexibility to tackle the complexity of the subject.

With solutions that at that time were unique and advanced, the company acquires its first customers, among which are Mataf – The First International Bank, Motorola, Granot, Merkavim and others, all of which have remained our customers over the years. The variety of business sectors to which the company provides solutions increased over the years and includes: manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, long term care, government and public, retail, finance, telecommunications, and more. 

Entry into global markets

1986:  While some Israeli technology companies begin to export their products to global markets,  Lavie Computers signs an agreement with a business partner to distribute its products in Canada. Later, additional channels are opened in the U.S., the Netherlands, United Kingdom, South America, South Africa, and elsewhere.

In 2000, a company subsidiary, TimeTECH Canada, is established, which operates in Canada and the U.S. In Europe and South Africa Synerion continues to operate through a network of business partners

Development of new solutions for human resource management

1998: A new partnership between Lavie Computers and Comtec’s Department for Time and Attendance solutions leads to the establishment of Lavie TimeTECH. This partnership continued even after Comtec was acquired by TIM.  In 2006, following the acquisition of TIM’s share, founders Eli Avni and Gil Yuval respectively become Managing Director and joint Managing Director of Lavie TimeTECH.

2006: With change came a spirit of renewal. Lavie TimeTECH identifies the market need and opportunity in entering the field of human resource management solutions.  Lavie TimeTECH purchases from SQLink a software system for recruitment and HR management known as HumaNet. Shortly thereafter, Lavie TimeTECH starts developing its own human capital management solutions.

Synerion – renewal of a longstanding company

2010: The Company announces its new product portfolio, which enables it to offer modular, comprehensive solutions that bridge between daily human resource activities and proactive talent management. These solutions enable businesses to track, monitor, and manage the employee life cycle in an organization in a comprehensive and effective manner.

Having entered a new field of solutions, and with firm belief in the synergy created by combining employee productivity and business strategy, the Company announces its new branding: Synerion.

2011: Synerion completes its product portfolio and offers comprehensive solutions for human capital management.

Synerion acquires the Canadian company ITR, becoming the largest private provider of workforce management solutions in Canada for the mid-size market.

2019: Synerion signs a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) agreement with SAP, which empowers it to deliver end-to-end services for SAP SuccesFactors solutions in the cloud, integrated with its own products.

Synerion continues to advance toward the realization of its vision of becoming an international corporation, a recognized leader, and preferred by both customers and employees, in providing computerized human capital management and auditing solutions.  It continues to be an industry leader in excellence and professionalism that provides superior service to customers and a satisfying and enriching work environment to employees.
